So you’ve tightened up the security on all of your social media accounts but there’s still some hesitance in your ability to freely use all the apps and websites you’d want to. Increasing security on all of your social media accounts does help quite a bit but to truly optimize social media security you must know how to use the programs safely.

For beginners, it should be important to know that not everything you see on the internet is true and it is important to filter out this so-called “fluff” and make your experience as safe and enjoyable as possible. You should be quite skeptical of the information you observe online, whether it be from social media or anywhere in the web. As Avinash Kaushik said, professionally speaking; if you are not skeptical, you are going to die.

You should be looking at what might be true and might not. As part of your final years in high school, there must be a need to make new friendships and grow your network. It is important to make sure that the friendships that are being created using social media are from people who are exactly who they seem to be on a social media account. In order to promote safe usage of social media, you should be cautious while interacting with suspicious catfish accounts.
